Omar Gonzalez story: unresolved questions

According to the publicly available info:

Gonzalez was charged with unauthorized entry while carrying a weapon — a folding knife with a 3 1/2-inch serrated blade. He faces up to 10 years in prison if convicted.
But the man has more than just a knife in store - probably for future use:
The man who scaled a White House fence and managed to get past the mansion’s unlocked front door on Friday had 800 rounds of ammo, a machete and hatchets in his car, a prosecutor said Monday.
The only question is could the cops match the rounds they found to the machete? Or to the hatchets, for that matter?

Just asking.
