Hamas Spokesman: Palestinian factions refuse to extend calm but are continuing ceasefire talks

Yeah: taking a page from the old and unlamented Yasser Arafat's book: negotiations with some shooting and killing on the side.

And they were so eager to try the formula, they couldn't even wait for expiration of the ceasefire:

Two rockets fired from Gaza landed in open areas in Eshkol Regional Council at 4 am, hours ahead of the expiration of the 72-hour ceasefire that ended a month of violence, the IDF said.

All that remains is to see how our government will respond.
