Dictionary definition of death wish: Syrians urge government to open Golan front v. Israel

Well, according to The Algemeiner, Syrian citizens (though probably not the rebels - they have other things on their minds right now) “...want to fight Israel as they fight us,” one Syrian says. “We want to open a new front in the Golan because we want to sacrifice for the Heights,” says the other, and a third says he “seeks an Arab army” to open a front along the Golan.

I use the phrase in the headline, because we only have to recall what happened in 1967 and 1973 (when the Israelis stopped, even though the road to Damascus was wide open) to realise the truth of it. If you read the article, you'll notice that a Syrian general splutters while trying to both support the sentiment and distance himself from it. He probably feels the Syrian army has enough on its plate without tangling (to its immense disadvantage) with the IDF as well.

Syrians are Arabs and Arabs don't have enough intelligence to wipe their asses. So the Syrians just might try to attack Israel and find out that both side, rebels and Assad will have their heads handed to them.

Sadly the world is not short of idiots

Neither does an EDL supporter

I wouldn't be the judge of their intelligence, but the prediction is true.

Shaun, only EDL supporters? What about BNP ones, to say nothing of the whole alphabet soup of idiots on the far right?
