Middle East on fire: signs of popular revolt in Israel

Yes, indeed:

Dozens of demonstrators gathered at Jerusalem's Mahane Yehuda Market in protest of the harm done to businesses in the area by the ongoing construction of the light rail system. The protestors carried signs condemning Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, Finance Minister Yuval Steinitz and Transportation Minister Yisrael Katz for the delayed project.
Down with all three! Power to the people!

Down with light rail! Or not? Who knows...

Rail, light or otherwise, is always controversial for the amount of right-of-way it condemns on either side of the tracks.

Oh... in Jerusalem the powers that be solved the issue simply: they just closed down the street for any other means of transport but light rail ;)
