Oh Debka, Debka...

This is a Debka version of the "nuclear incident" in New Delhi:

Five people suffering serious burns were hospitalized in West New Delhi this week from contact with radioactive material in a Delhi scrap market identified as Cobalt-60 which may be used for making a dirty bomb.
There is a lot more where the quote comes from, including hair loss and skin turning black in five minutes or so, chancellor Angela Merkel, Barack Obama, nuclear terrorism, Indian prime minister, Pakistan's inaction against Muslim terrorists and whatnot...

Here comes the real, much less exciting story, involving a hospital getting rid of used radioactive source in the usual illegal way (throwing it out with other garbage), several days of unwitting exposure by unsuspecting scrap dealer and his hapless employees and the expected result:

Well, nothing lost - nothing gained, I guess. Another day in BS shoveling business...

Good ol' Debka. Does it get them subscribers, I wonder?

Does anyone still take Debka seriously or is it just read for laughs?

This one is not as wild as their article about Hezbollah invading northern Israel so I suppose it is something of an improvement!

Hope everyone who was exposed recovers okay.

That be my question too. They still exist somehow.

They get a lot of links from all kinds of places, including sometimes the serious ones.

Don't forget that they have succeeded to cause that "dirty bomb" panic in Manhattan.
