I want some of it too!

It's holiday time, and people are naturally in a mood that makes pink-tinted glasses unnecessary. Still, this editorial is outstanding even for a double dose of pink glasses.

A new peace effort in Middle East has started with a secret meeting between Israeli Prime Minister Ehud Olmert and Palestinian National Authority President Mahmoud Abbas

(And that was just for a headline!) This "secret" meeting was talked about for a few days, and even stray cats on my street were aware of it, I am sure. But this is just for starters.

It was an interesting start that will achieve something unbelievable. The seeds of peace and Middle East peace and prosperity started in a quiet secret meeting between the Israeli Prime Minister Ehud Olmert and Palestinian National Authority President Mahmoud Abbas as they met at Olmert's residence in Jerusalem on Dec. 23.

There were no press reporters, no joint statement, no formal signatures or accords. But it was a real break through that will change the world forever. The two leaders agreed to disagree and move forward with a new peace agenda supported by the West.

Israel will support financial and economic reconstruction of Palestine. Palestine will slow convert into a super prosperous nation living in peace with its neighbor Israel. The seeds of hatred and hate politics will end.
I happen to know that many of Israeli youngsters, especially after the arduous and lengthy military service, tend to spend a few months in India. This time includes a stint of what is euphemistically called in Hebrew "head cleaning" in Goa, where tinkering with some locally grown substances is, apparently, prescribed.

It looks like the author of the above quoted article, Mr (or Ms) Balaji Reddy, spent some quality time there recently. On the other hand, he (or she) may know something hidden from us, mere mortals...

In any case... but see the title of this post...
